Welcome to my world of finding peace through my great love of food.
Food is a difficult medium to negotiate towards consciousness, but since it is obviously my teacher, I feel the need to not only learn from it but ascend with it. I can honestly say I have only been successful in moments, but I am on the path and determined. In this blog, I will be featuring my articles in our newspaper on guilt-free gourmet. There will also be some of my personal journey through exploration of mindful eating. I am a believer that food is not simply food. It is the great nurturer. Food marks the rites of passage as we journey through life. It was there for us when we came into the world and will honor us at our passing. It energizes mind and body as well as being medicine for healing. It can also destroy our health, feed addictive behaviors and shorten our lives. Let’s celebrate and honor the great nurturer in balance and in health.-
