I am a believer that food is not simply food. It is the great nurturer. Food marks the rites of passage as we journey through life. It was there for us when we came into the world and will honor us at our passing. It energizes mind and body as well as being medicine for healing. It can also destroy our health, feed addictive behaviors and shorten our lives. Let’s celebrate and honor the great nurturer in balance and in health.
